The Midwest Center for Movement wants to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. As such, please see the below policies and student responsibilities.
All in person classes can by made available to be streamed over zoom- so if you are not comfortable coming in for training, you can still participate. Contact Us to request zoom access or with any questions regarding zoom classes.
New Dojo Policies:
Temperature may be taken via infared thermometer upon entry. A temperature of greater than 99.4 will result in being sent home.
Mats and any contact surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected prior to every class day
To help you continue your training while we are all being socially responsible, we will also keep all on-line learning live through the Virtual Classroom on our website
New expectations for students:
We are taking steps to protect your health and safety as much as possible, but ultimately you are responsible for yourself.
Do NOT train if you are feeling ill (regardless of illness)
All uniforms (INCLUDING YOUR BELT), clothes, weapons and persons must be clean and sanitized before getting on the mat (wipes are available at the dojo)
Maintain social distancing as much as possible when not directly training with a partner
Hand sanitizer will be provided. USE IT EVERY time you get onto the mat.
Policies and procedures are updated as circumstances change and new information comes out. We will keep our students informed of any changes as they happen. Stay safe!
We know this is a stressful time for everyone. We’re deeply appreciative of everything you do to keep our community safe and healthy.
